Here’s Moira’s YBB Rating for mature skin
I’ve mentioned it before, I’m the queen of concealer buys, and I’m always on the lookout for one that provides medium buildable to full coverage. The born this way concealer is one of my favorite concealers; it glides nicely over skin and provides full coverage for my dark circles. The formula is light-weight and provides a matte finish. In terms of how the concealer wears, there is some slight creasing and transferring; if you have oily skin, it might be a good idea to set the concealer with a light setting powder. The born this way concealer does stay put for the whole day, but you may need to do a touch-up. The product comes in a large bottle, so the value is great for the price, and it comes in a wide range of shades. I would recommend the Too Faced born this way concealer for all skin types.
Consistency: Thick and creamy consistency
Scent: Slight scent, like most concealers, unlikely to be offensive
Coverage: Glides over skin and offers full coverage for even very dark circles
Finish: Dries to a matte finish. For dry skin, a moisturizer will be required
Feel: Feels light, no tightness after drying
Creasing: Slight creasing on dry skin types
Transfer: Minimal transfer, it’s best to use with a light setting powder
Lasting power: Stays in place most of the day, may need a slight touch
Value: Comes in a large bottle that offers fantastic value
Worked as expected: Works better than expected
Pros: A wide range of shades, long-lasting formula, buildable
Cons: A moisturizer may be needed if you have dry skin to help with creasing
YBB Rating 4.5 out of 5
Here’s Natassia’s YBB Rating for youthful skin
Admittedly my concealer collection is growing, but the Too Faced concealer is definitely among my favorites. The born this way concealer has a flawless natural, semi-matte finish that is incredibly light-weight. The concealer has a standard medium to thin consistency that blends out seamlessly and has a comfortable feel. While it does have some slight creasing that can be fixed by lightly dabbing that spot with your fingers. When worn with a primer, the born this way concealer will last for a standard 8-hour day with little to no creasing or transfer. In terms of the value, the amount of product you receive is quite impressive for the price.
Consistency: Standard medium consistency
Scent: Light almost undetectable scent
Coverage: Medium, natural coverage
Finish: Semi-matte
Feel: Light-weight, comfortable feel
Creasing: Only slight creasing if worn without a primer
Transfer: Slight transfer without setting spray
Lasting power: Lasts most of the day
Value: Amazing value, lots of product for the price
Worked as expected: Yes
Pros: Incredible value for the price
Cons: Slight creasing and transfer without a good primer
YBB Rating 4.5 out of 5
