Here’s Moira’s YBB Rating for dry skin
Looking for a primer that grabs your makeup and keeps it in place, try the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip primer. The primer has a light-weight formula that has a tacky feel. I found the primer holds my makeup in place really well and provides my skin with only minor hydration. In my opinion, this primer will work for all skin types, but if you have dry skin, I recommend wearing a good moisturizer under the primer for added hydration. You get a lot of product for the price, and a little goes a long way, so I would say it is a great value for the price. I highly recommend trying this primer.
Consistency: Thick gel-like consistency
Feel: Thick and slightly tacky going on but dries well
Scent: There’s no real detectable scent
Hydration: Provides minor hydration but is meant to grip make-up
Results: Holds makeup in place really well and effortlessly
Skin types: Works with all skin types, a moisturizer is needed for dry skin
Value: Great value, little product is needed
Worked as expected: Better than expected results
Pros: Great value when compared with other primers, long-lasting, flawless
Cons: Those with dry skin might find they need a good moisturizer

Here’s Natassia’s YBB Rating for oily skin
I have struggled for a long time to find a primer that will actually keep my powder foundation in place, so I was pleasantly surprised when the Milk Makeup hydro grip primer actually did. The primer has a gel-like consistency that glides on at first and dries to a tacky finish. Makeup application is smooth, and it really grips to the primer like glue. By the end of the day, my powder foundation is still visibly there, and my skin still feels hydrated when I remove my makeup. The hydro grip primer even does a decent job of masking any oiliness in the T-zone. This primer will definitely work for all skin types; it has no real scent to it and has a light-weight formula that won’t clog your pores. I am in love with this primer; I definitely recommend the hydro grip primer, especially if you wear powder foundations.
Consistency: Thick, tacky gel
Feel: Tacky to the touch after a few seconds
Scent: No real noticeable scent
Hydration: By the end of the day, skin feels as hydrated as before application
Results: Makeup really grips to primer and stays put all-day
Skin types: All skin types
Value: Great value for the price
Worked as expected: Way better than expected
Pros: Makeup grips to face and stays put all-day
Cons: None
