YBB Favorites For May 2020

Hey, beauties, we’re back with our favorite beauty products for the month of May. For our May YBB monthly faves, we tested the GlamGlow glowlace radiance-boosting hydration sheet mask, Saturday Skin press pause beauty essence, Moroccanoil protect and prevent spray, and the Benefit porefessional hydrating primer – here is our take.

GlamGlow – Glowlace Radiance-Boosting Hydration Sheet Mask

The GlamGlow glowlace radiance-boosting hydration sheet mask is infused with hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines. The glowlace sheet mask also contains green tea and caffeine to energize the skin. This hydrating sheet mask improves the skin’s natural glow by enriching the skin with Vitamin B5, Arginine, and licorice root. The two-piece sheet mask comes soaked in a liquid solution for easy application for all face shapes.

If you have dry skin or are a fan of pampering yourself, you should try using a sheet mask. I love how nice sheet masks make your skin feel, so I decided to try the GlamGlow glowlace sheet mask. The glowlace sheet mak is an easy to apply two-piece cloth mask that really hydrates and soothes your skin. The mask as a bit big for my face, and it is a bit messy, so I recommend removing a bit of the excess liquid before applying it to your face. Once the mask is applied, it has a cooling feel that really soothes your skin. It has a light, clean scent that is not too strong. Since the glowlace mask is so hydrating and contains no harsh ingredients, I think it would work well on all skin types. The only downside to the GlamGlow glowlace sheet mask is that it is a bit pricey for a one-use mask, I prefer to pay under $10 for a disposable sheet mask.

I’m a bit new to the sheet mask game, but I will say I am definitely hooked now. The GlamGlow glowlace sheet mask is a two-piece cloth mask soaked in a hydrating solution. It is easy to apply, since it comes with a lot of liquid in the package I did have to ring out a bit of the product so it wouldn’t drip everywhere. The size of the sheet is a bit big for my face, but it is a one size fits all mask. Once applied, the GlamGlow sheet mask does have a really nice cool soothing feel. In terms of the scent, the mask has a fresh smell that is not too overpowering. I was really impressed with the results of the mask, my skin felt incredibly soft and hydrated for the rest of the day. While I was really happy with the results of the mask, I will admit I think it is a bit pricey to pay $14.00 for a disposable mask, so I don’t think I can honestly say it is good value.
