Algenist’s GENIUS Liquid Collagen Lip treatment is a unique product that uses botanical extracts to enhance the appearance of your lips. The vegan formula uses plant-based collagens to hydrate, plump, and visibly smooth fine lines on your lips. The formula is composed of beads of Microalgae oil in collagen water, which is supposed to give you smoother, fuller lips in 10 days. Algenist’s GENIUS liquid collage lip treatment improves the texture of your lips for better application of lipsticks. It comes in a sleek 10 ml/0.34 fl. oz. bottle with a ceramic applicator tip.

Algenist’s GENIUS Liquid Collagen lip treatment is a unique product because it claims it will improve the appearance of your lips in 10 days. During a 10-day trial I noticed a reduction in the appearance of fine lines on my lips and an improvement in the hydration of my lips. It also made lipstick application smoother and reduced how much lipsticks settled into the lines on my lips. There was a plumping effect but not on the same level as a lip plumper. Once applied the treatment has a refreshing, cool tingle, much like applying a lightweight watery gel to your lips. For the price, I think it has good value, a little goes a long way so it will last quite a while.

During the 10-day testing period of Algenist’s GENIUS Liquid Collagen lip treatment, I noticed a reduction in the appearance of lines on my lips. When I applied it on very dry lips, I noted that it hydrated my lips quickly and provided a slight plumping effect too. The texture of the treatment was amazing, it felt cool with a slight tingle that made your lips feel like they were plumping. I typically applied it 10 minutes before lipstick application to smooth out lines and improve the appearance of my lipsticks. I would definitely buy this product again, you don’t need to use much product, so it goes a long way.

Results: Softer lips, slightly fuller appearance
