The Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Crème is a leave-in styling cream designed to hydrate and protect hair from damage, all while eliminating frizz. Known for their groundbreaking formulas, Olaplex created this styler with all hair types in mind. The No. 6 smoothing reparative styling crème promises to eliminate frizz, hydrate hair, and reduce blow drying time for up to 72 hours. The Olaplex styling crème is great for anyone with damaged, color-treated, or chemically treated hair. The styling crème comes in a clear plastic squeeze bottle that contains 3.3 oz./ 100 ml of product.

If you have damaged or thinning hair, then you know how hard it can be to find products that actually help nurse your hair back to health. Olaplex has a solid reputation for hair repair products, so I decided to try their No. 6 reparative styling cream. The cream has a rich, dense consistency that glides through your hair. If you have thin hair, the product will last a decent amount of time, but if you have thick hair, the bottle won’t last very long. I have to admit this is a major downside because Olaplex products are not cheap. When I use the No. 6 styling cream, my hair feels very hydrated, more defined, more voluminous, and it has very little frizz. While Olaplex claims the No. 6 styling cream provides results for 72 hours, I can’t necessarily vouch for that.

Feel: Product glides through hair

Results:  Hair feels hydrated, defined, soft, and frizz-free

Lasting power: Results last for about 2 days

Worked as expected: Yes

Pros: Hair is soft, hydrated, and frizz-free.

Cons: Pricey and you don’t get much product
