Nail Products

Are products designed for use on both fingernails and toenails. Nal products can serve different purposes such as depositing color onto the nail, removing polish from nails, treating nail issues, or even altering nails. Most nail products are intended to beautify or care for nails. Below we will look at the different types of nail products and what they do.

Nail Treatments

Are designed to deal with nail issues such as dry, brittle or weak nails. There are also nail treatments for fungal infections of the nail. Nail treatments are usually clear and need to be applied regularly.

Nail Bases

Are intended for application before applying any other nail polishes. Base coats are designed to provide a base for nail polishes to prolong their wear. They typically come in clear or light colors to allow the true color of the nail polish to show.

Nail Polishes

Deposit color onto nails, they come in every color imaginable. Nail polishes can have glitter or shimmer in them and can come in translucent or milky colors. Some nail polishes can even add texture to nails like a suede texture. Some nail polishes even have a fragrance to them, like a candy cane scent. Most nail polishes only wear for about a week before they chip, but gel nail polishes can last a very long time. Gel polishes will stay on until they are soaked off with a gel removing solvent.
